Our guest for this episode is FIFA International Assistant Referee George Lakrindis. George has been appointed to the panel of FIFA Internatational referees since 2016 and was selected to officiate at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
In this episode we touch on his extraordinary journey to Tokyo, culminating in being chosen to be an assistant referee for the Gold Medal match.
We talk about out some of the challenges that he has faced during his officiating career as well as what it feels like to reach the top of your chosen sport. It’s a journey of perseverance and preparation ensuring that he was able to make the most of the opportunities that are presented to him.
The lessons that George talks about during his journey can also be an encouragement to all of us in every aspect of our lives.
