IMPERMISSIBLE PLACEMENT OF LOGO
EXAMPLES OF PERMISSIBLE FIELD MARKINGS
Rule 1-2-h-4: This diagram is intended to provide clarity regarding the rules governing field markings and logo placement. The use of commercial logos in the field is permissible in no more than three locations (midfield and two flanking locations). These three locations are inclusive of both the commercial naming rights allowance and the permissive rule that was passed in advance of the 2024 playing season to align regular-season rules with neutral-site and postseason rules. Previously approved, Rule 1-2-h-3 allows a commercial entity or individual that has purchased naming rights to advertise on two of the flanking logos on the field. Of note, a maximum of two of the flanking logos may be used for advertising in any form.
